Twenty years ago, I had a vision to make contractors’ work easier and more successful. With a civil engineering degree and years of experience as a general contractor, I understood the demands of the construction industry. One issue stood out to me that was contractors were losing valuable bidding opportunities. Why? Because they didn’t have enough time to create and submit accurate bid estimates. Seeing this challenge, I knew something had to change.
With this in mind, I founded a company dedicated to construction estimating services. My goal was to help contractors focus on their projects while we handled the time-consuming task of preparing precise estimates. Our service aimed to give contractors back their time and increase their chances of winning bids. Starting the company wasn’t without its hurdles. At first, it was hard to gain the trust of contractors.
Many were hesitant to rely on an outside service for such an important job. I also had to build a reliable team of estimators that shared my passion for detail and accuracy. On top of that, staying up-to-date with industry tools and technology was a constant challenge, especially in those early years. Though the road was tough, persistence paid off. Our company grew stronger with time as we earned contractors’ trust and helped them secure more projects.
